A better story. . .

In the act of baptism, children become full members of the body of Christ.  This means children are not our future, they are our present. Therefore, Cuba UMC is committed not only to having fun with children but provoking discovery and forming passion to follow Jesus.

We have partnered with the ReThink Group and are beginning to “Think Orange“.  Starting in September 2012, our children’s ministry will used the 252 Basics curriculum.  This curriculum combines the two most important influences in a child’s life, church and family, in order to provoke discovery and form passion in following Jesus.

So join us for Sunday School at 9am and stay for “Children’s Church” when the children continue worship in a worship service designed especially for children during the second half of the Sunday worship service.

Cuba UMC is committed to providing a safe place for children and adult volunteers.  All our children’s volunteers have been trained, had background checks, and have been interviewed.  You can have confidence that children are safe at Cuba UMC.  For more information review our “Safe Sanctuary” policy.
